A couple of years ago, I went on a family trip to Thailand. One day we went out in kayaks, through a cave at low tide, which led into this insane lagoon. The water was this incredible aqua color and the whole place was surrounded by shear cliff walls, covered in vines and tropical plants. It was beautiful.
In the last couple of days, I’ve found closure in an area of my life, which I never thought I would. This area of my life has been emotionally the most challenging situation I’ve ever had to deal with.
That closure is all thanks to a conversation, which started with my art.
It’s created a beautiful and peaceful place for me mentally which I no longer have to struggle with. I’m writing this but I really can’t even put into words what that means to me.
This is a tribute to that beautiful place that now exists in my mind.
This is ‘Blue Lagoon’.
