This last week hasn’t been easy. The project was starting to become a little overwhelming. Initially, I wasn’t happy with this artwork and being the feature of the film, that was really stressing me out. Monday to Thursday, I was letting that little voice get to me…
My whole career is built on the idea of not listening to that voice, but its easier said than done.
So Saturday night I finally got around to facing my fears, and doing the shoot for the Artwork that I thought I’d ruined. Under lights, stood up, as the feature of a room, it is amazing. When I finally took the time to focus on the fine detail I was so stoked! I’ve got effects, on effects, on effects in this piece. Looks un-real up close and the size alone gives it a lot of impact in a room.
So in that moment, the name for this piece came really easily, it wasn’t planned at all and makes this one of the most powerful artworks I’ve ever created. This artwork represents perfectly why that voice in your head really is just noise. If you can see through that noise, you can find beauty in any situation.
This is ‘The Little Voice’.
